Goldman Sachs has prepared videoed
discussions of the global economic outlook for 2013. The nub of what’s said
is reported by Allison Nathan, as follows:
“2013 is likely to be another year of quite slow growth in the
U.S. and globally. The good news is that as the year goes on, the growth
picture is likely to look a little bit better, and investors may be able to
relax about some of the big picture risks that they’ve been worried about over the
last couple of years.”
No one, not even Goldman Sachs, can possibly know the future, so we turn to educated
guesses. Goldman’s are reputably among the most reliable.
We’re at the midpoint of 2013 now. Let’s see if more good news
lies ahead in the next six months.
