Yesterday I published a brief discussion of the amazing
performance shown by the AAII Petroski investment strategy—up double digits in
the last 10, 5, and 3 calendar years (30.5%-33.7%) as well as 2013 year to date
through May 31 (+83.6%).
Also, I named SKYW as yesterday’s stock of the day. Today, my
selection is CVTI, its companion. It,
too, has a scary five-year performance chart as well as
a takes-your-breath-away three-month chart.
As I said yesterday, these charts help to explain why we need
to consider both fundamental
and technical
indicators rather than either alone.
Never forget: All investments and savings
are gambles on the unknowable future and thus subject to loss.
