Silicon Valley? Try Boston

“Boston may overtake Silicon Valley at the top of the biotech heap,” reports Antonio Regalado for MIT Technology Review. Silicon Valley “has ruled for years in both computer technology and biotechnology,” he says—but recently “there are signs that Boston and adjacent Cambridge (specifically the area around Kendall Square, near MIT) might just break away and take the lead.”
In April, adds Antonio, “the Cambridge City Council approved an MIT petition to develop 26 acres around its campus and put up buildings twice as high as currently.”
Exciting stuff, I’d say, for what Fox News calls the second most-exciting city in America.
